FALL LOOK- The Lushest Lips

ARTIST'S INSPIRATION
Our Fall Look is designed around our rich new lipstick color, Beloved- a deep, scarlet berry. Lead Artist and Educator, Helen Andersson, used the glamorous shade to create a look evocative of the polished beauties of the 1940's and '50's. Helen loved the looks worn by Kate Winslet in "Revolutionary Road" and Drew Barrymore in "Grey Gardens", that paid homage to the post-war elegance of classic film stars.
"This is one of my favorite makeup looks; the flawless porcelain skin, very little blush, heavy eyebrows, neutral eyes and a bold mouth that radiates confidence," says Helen.

Follow Helen's Application Tips to create your own timeless, chic look for Fall 2009:

-For flawless porcelain skin Helen recommends starting with FACE Stockholm’s Picture Perfect Foundation in your favorite-skin flattering shade.
-Use Rome Crème Blush as a contour below the cheekbones and Hudson Crème Blush as a highlighter on the top of cheekbones.
-A little Myrrah Brow Shadow helps to create full, but groomed brows.
-Generos Matte Eye Shadow is best applied with our #37 Blender Brush in the crease of the lid, while Utsökt can be applied to the whole lid, up to the brow.
-Our Lash Curler and Volumizing Black Mascara complete the eye.
-And for the all-important lip, apply Beloved Lipstick with our #18 Lip Brush over Tuija Pencil.

Drew herself popped into our FACE location in Rhinebeck, NY, last weekend. When not on the big screen, she prefers to play around with our brighter shadows and glitter pots, like Matte Shadows in Noisy, Shocking, and Alarming; a trio of neon orange, electric pink and acid green.

She loves our Galaxy Glitters and cream Glitter Sticks, and stocked up on all of our newest and brightest Nail Enamels, from screaming violet to turquoise. We love Drew's sense of color!
